A atenção e solicitude de todos os funcionários merecem destaque. As instalações. o conforto, a limpeza, o serviço do restaurante e qualidade dos produtos estavam ótimos. Tudo realizado com muita competência. Nos sentimos muito bem acolhidas!!!

O serviço e o cardápio do restaurante especializado de mariscos poderiam melhorar.

Niente. Occhio al taxi per la habana che vi viene chiamato dall’hotel, costa davvero troppo!!

Emplacement exceptionnel au bord d'une plage paradisiaque. Chambre spacieuse, au calme. Petite piscine isolée pour être tranquille. Personnel aux petits-soins.

Nous n'avons pas apprécié la restauration (manque de qualité comme partout à Cuba de manière générale). La chambre manquait de lumière et la salle bain commence à être vieillissante.

La plage et son service de plage impeccable. un trés joli hotel avec de superbes jardins. L'amabilité, la gentillesse du personnel.

Je ne bois pas d'alcool; Je bois essentiellement de l'eau gazeuse. il n'y en avait pas au restaurant...c'est dommage quand on est en "tout compris" et qu'il est plus facile de boire de l'alcool que de l'eau. Le restaurant globalement a de bons produits mais l'organisation fait qu'on a l'impression de ne rien avoir à manger : attente aux buffets, plats de fruits vides, ...il faut demander et redemander ...c'est dommage car sinon c'est bon. Les restaurants à la Carte ne servent à rien et n'apportent rien.

La plage est juste à couper le souffle. Toujours propre et grande, pas besoin de se marcher dessus. Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuse. Les douches/baignoire très grande (taille d'un jacuzzi). Le restaurant buffet est très bien et varié. par contre les restaurant proposé = NUL.

La piscine est beaucoup beaucoup trop petite! L'animation est quasi inexistante et niveau qualité/prix trop cher pour se que c'est. L'établissement est bien mais pourrait faire bien mieux. D'ailleurs, ne vous faite pas avoir, il y a un bus qui fait le transport tout les jours des hôtels de Varadero jusqu'à l'aeroport de la Havane. Ne poser pas la question à la réception ou à votre femme accompagnante. Allez directement à l'agence Cubanatur qui se trouve dans l'hôtel. ça ne vous coutera que 25 CUC chacun tandis que la miss nous avait demandé 120 CUC !

Personnel très aimable et aux petits soins: bagages apportés aux chambres; champagne servis dès le petit déjeuner :p, présents si besoin d'aide!..; bonne nourriture dans le self + snack et encore un peu meilleur dans les restaurants où il faut réserver à l'avance; belles et agréables piscines (+ bar dans la piscine appréciable); très très belle plage: eau turquoise quand il fait beau!!; belle chambre et très spacieuse tant dans la chambre elle même (côté salon + côté lit) que la salle de bain avec un beau balcon: et frigo plein de boissons inclus dans le prix :D; beaux bars; petite rue commerçante assez mignonne... PISCINES OUVERTES H24 à ce qui parait (pas pu tester car trop frais la nuit) et tout est à volonté!!!! LE REVE!!!!!!

Attention aux mauvaises odeurs qui se dégagent près du petit snack!!!

Es un hotel para personas que no provengan de América Latina. Las normas, los códigos y el enfoque del hotel, no tienen mucho que ofrecerle a los latinos

Su arquitectura, el personal de animación es excelente. La tranquilidad Habitaciones amplias y confortables

La comida, sus restaurantes temáticos tienen una comida espantosa . Muy poco cuidado.tampoco la decoración . No tienen carta de almohadas y la que ponen es inmensa y dura El servicio. De mayordomo sobra .

The highest point was the staff with no doubt. We were simply overwhelmed with the attention provided. Couldn go without thanking people well definitely remember...Special thanks to the kind Elieser, the waiter at the buffet that was so adorable and more than attentive, amazing human being!!! Dayle always smiley. Yuni and Sandy at the bar central - Sandy always attentive, polite and caring. Liz at the reception and Leo our butler that was helpful until the last minute sorting out taxi out. About the hotel, go ahead and book it. Facilities were great, beach was fantastic and food was excellent. Very happy with our choice, would def go back.

Our stay at Royalton Hicacos was a great one! What impressed us the most was how well kept the grounds were and how kind the staff was. Unlike other resorts, this one is not a single building, but an array of smaller buildings spread over a considerable area. And yet everything was ver clean and well kept. The vast majority of the staff, whether a cook, a gardener or a server, would pass by you and always say hola. You have a butler to attend to your requests - ours, Leonardo and Marcos, were very helpful and when requested would always promptly show up or arrange a convenient time to meet us. The rooms (junior suite) are pleasant, although they could have some extra amenities, namely some slippers. A nice touch, the TV had a portuguese channel and is always nice to see the news in your own language. The swimming pools are excelent and provide some areas where you can be in the water but under a shade, which is a plus under the very hot cuban sun. Then you have the beach, with a beach bar (where the drinks were not up to the standards of the remaining bars in the resort). The beach also offers you some included sea activities, like the catamaran ride we had (small boat, maybe for a maximum of 4 pax + skipper, with a duration of around 20 min). The beach has enough chairs and shade for everyone and nature took care of everything else, like the near 30 degrees celsius sea water temperature and the fine white sand. There are 4 a la carte restaurants (for dinner) and the buffet for breakfast, dinner and lunch (you can also have a lighter lunch at the beach bar, near the swimming pools or in the 24hours café). To keep it short and concise your best dinner option will be the buffet instead of the a la carte restaurants (not that they are bad, but the buffet is better). You have the main bar running 24 hours and also a café always open, for some sandwiches, crepes, and so on. Right next to it you will also find an icecream shop, but open only during the daytime.

The not so good: it took them 30 minutes and 2 phone calls to get our baggage into the room, after we got there (and before we got to the room we had already spent around 15min with the butler showing us the grounds). The 24h café should be better staffed and the staff there should be better trained: one afternoon it took us more than 30 min to get 2 sandwiches and the waiter was lost because he didn't write down the orders. Also the beach and poolside bar service is understaffed, taking it way too long to order or get a drink. Last, but not least, the checkout process was not friendly at all: we were not asked to sit down, not asked if we enjoyed it, no one asked if we needed help carrying our luggage to the storage area, and no system to identify and control the luggage there. The rooms were comfortable, but could be a bit improved. Also, the facilities they offer you to shower/change after checking out (in the same building were the luggage is kept) are of a 2-star hotel, not of a 5-star resort. These points should really be looked into, because they can leave you a bit disappointed after a great stay. One last note, for those who don't like lizards (or cats) you will see some of both in the premises (but not inside the rooms or closed areas), and they won't bother you at all.

Beautiful resort, friendliest resort staff I've met, they treated me so well. great rooms and the bed was really comfy. Little notes left in my door card entry by the butter to keep me updated on things i booked.

Great staff, friendly and welcoming. Beach was lovely, albeit windy. Lots of activities to keep you busy.

Overall the food was terrible. Best meals were at the Mexican Restaurant and BBQ for Cuba day. Note, this resort is not representative of Cuba... it could be any beach resort in Caribbean.

Very friendly ambiance, loved the beach Bar with its cosy easy atmosphere. All over excellent food,we went for the buffet option, friendly staff, interior designs in public spaces very well done .

The mayordomo lady was just too pushy and put us off, let people discover the premises at leisure by themselves. The check in time at 16 o clock is slightly ridiculous,our room was ready much earlier but a certain rigidly there... none of the many bars have fresh lemons for drinks...such a pity,all drinks taste slightly chemical because of the lack of.

All the staff were friendly and provided a first class service.

Air conditioning was a bit hit and miss at times. This was reported but nobody came to fix it.

Dirket am Strand ! Die Bar war immer geöffnet und auch Essen bekam man eigentlich rund um die Uhr. Man hatte verschiedene Restaurants die im Preis enthalten waren, die man besuchen konnte.

Wir hatten zwei einzelbetten gebucht, sie hatten kein Zimmer mehr mit zwei einzelbetten also haben sie einfach ein zusätzliches Bett reingestellt was sehr viel Platz in anspruch nahm ! Das Hotel ist meiner Meinung nach sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Man verspürt ständig den Druck überall trinkgeld geben zu müssen, da sonst oft auch der Service nicht so gut ist. Die Livemusik ging oft nur bis 22h. Das Essen war oft sehr ähnlich es mangelte sehr an abwechslung. Wir waren über eine Woche da und das Menu wiederhohlt sich jede Woche exact! Die qualität war aber sehr gut man könnte nur mehr mit Gewürzen arbeiten.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück hat uns nicht gerade geschmeckt. Das grosse Bett in der Junior Suite war viel zu weich, meine Frau bekam Rückenschmerzen und konnte nicht schlafen. Aber auf unsere Beanstandungen hin hat man uns ein zweites Bett ins Zimmer gestellt und das Problem war gelöst.

Горячая вода по утрам появлялась после 9-ти утра. Итальянский ресторан - не рекомендую, ужасная кухня. Клопы!! Пишут, что это проблема многих отелей, Royalton Hicacos не исключение, к сожалению. Сообщили на ресепшн, комнату обработали, результат нулевой

Хорошо: Большая, зеленая, ухоженная территория. Прекрасный пляж с мелким песочком, новыми лежаками и зонтами (установлены после урагана ирма). Пляж длинный, можно долго гулять и в ту и в другую сторону. На пляже перед отелем деление на две половины: зона для курящих и для некурящих. Великолепный океан: вход пологий, песчаный, без камней, растительности и живности. Стационарный бар на пляже еще не восстановили (хотя работы какие-то идут), но небольшой бар с напитками и перекусом (жаренная рыбка, хот-доги, гамбургеры) функционирует. Приветливый персонал: ресепшн, официанты, батлеры, уборщики, сотрудники на пляже. А если вы будете давать небольшие чаевые, то будут стараться угодить вам и обслужить очень хорошо. Номера достаточно просторные: есть зона спальни и зона гостиной. Уборку в номере делали хорошо – каждый день мыли полы. Питание в основном ресторане разнообразное: есть отдельная зона по мясу (жарят на гриле свежее при тебе), рыбе (также жарят на гриле), морепродуктам (отварены из замороженных), сырам и колбасам, салатам, сладкому и фруктам, макаронам и пицце. Периодически устраивали пикники на территории с жаренными на большом вертеле поросятами и барашками. В первой половине дня на лужайке у основного бассейна недалеко от пляжа режут кокосы. Вино, которое разливают в основном ресторане и барах по все включено вполне нормальное, из стеклянных бутылок. В баре 24 часа бармены работают на износ, алкоголь/коктейли хорошие. Каждый день в барах, ресторанах играет живая музыка. На вечернее шоу ходили только в новогоднюю ночь, и оно было прекрасным: великолепные музыкальные и танцевальные номера! Жирный плюс, за который в том числе выбрали отель – отсутствие детей. Постояльцы – это в основном канадско-европейская пенсия и люди среднего возраста. Тихо и спокойно. Отличная сигарная комната на территории отеля с выбором сигар (хотя по очень завышенным ценам), алкоголя (отличного от того, что в баре), с хорошей вытяжкой и более или менее быстрым интернетом.

Плохо: Отель хороший, но далеко не Luxury. Или это роскошь по-кубински. В основном ресторане неоднократно замечены тараканы, что недопустимо для любого отеля! По утрам (но не каждый день) на территории отеля стоял невыносимый запах канализации, приходилось закрывать балкон и спать с закрытой дверью. В новогодние праздники у отеля была полная загрузка, поэтому порой на обеде/ужине было трудно в основном ресторане сразу найти столик, очереди на станции жарки мяса и рыбы тоже образовывались приличные, в баре 24 часа тоже проблемно в пиковые часы было найти свободный столик, официанты долго приносили заказ. Не знаю, как с этим в другие месяцы. В номерах темно, совсем нет верхнего света. Также из-за большой влажности все никелированные поверхности в ванной комнате в ржавчине. Неудобная душевая лейка – не снимается со стены, поэтому, чтобы помыть какую-то часть тела каждый раз приходится полностью вставать под душ. Биде нет. Берите фумигатор – в номерах комары. Очень важно расположение номера. В основном все номера в трехэтажных домиках балконами выходят на внутреннюю территорию отеля, но есть несколько домиков, где номера выходят на дорогу. Наш номер имел вид на внутренний маленький бассейн, но из-за того, что сам домик был практически у забора отеля, шум дороги был слышен особенно по утрам. Чем дальше домик располагается от ресепшн и ближе к океану, тем лучше. Хотя не из одного домика вида на океан нет, даже с верхнего этажа, т.к. океан отделен от территории отеля небольшим пролеском, что неплохо, т.к. ветер с океана меньше дует. Но шум океана слышен, особенно по ночам. Wi-fi на территории отеля нет, можно купить только карточки на интернет за деньги (5 часов – 5 кук), но и с карточкой ты можешь подключиться к интернету только в баре 24 часа и сигарной комнате. При этом подключение очень слабое, нестабильное, периодически тебя выкидывает. В общем, если планируете в отпуске скачать в отеле фильмы, или работать с документами, то не надейтесь.
